Heart Attack

Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?     Acts 2:37

"Where are the "sent ones" that have the same Gospel that Peter preached?"

Where is the "message" gone that cause sharp pain to the heart of man that causes him to know that there's something terrible wrong with him and he needs immediate attention?

Most of the "sent ones" today have become "bent ones".
They have bent the message to become attractive enough so that the message has lost the piercing of the Holy Spirit.

"When a person is having a heart attack, he has a sharp pain, sweats, panic sets in, and if he's not given the help he needs, he probably won't make it!"

The first thing Peter said to those that had been pricked by the message from God.    "Repent!"
  • A message from God brought by a faithful messenger will cause sharp conviction!
  • Peter has just been through the greatest test of his faith and has denied his Lord that he said he was willing to die with.
  • But Jesus said: "Satan desires to have you but I have prayed for you that your faith in God does not fail!"
That first message that Peter preached to those that were crying out was a message of repentance!

"That message needs to be preached today by men walking holy before the Lord and on their faces before Christ to be given the power to touch those under their hearing of this "Gospel".

There will be a "Heart Attack" but their is immediate and sufficient  attention when we repent!

"God gives us a new heart!"
